Working late one night, my CD came to me with a script for Hive, the new British Gas heating app.

He said “You write music don’t you? Can you turn this into an indie-folk song?”

So I went home that evening and did a demo in my home studio. The client loved it, and next thing I knew I was in a sound studio in Soho recording the final version.

My family enjoyed hearing me on the the first few hundred times, then even they turned against me cos it was on every ad break.

The song did so well for the brand that I did 3 more versions over the following years.
