Go Compare is one of the most popular comparison websites in the UK.

We pitched for the client with one mandatory in the brief: We have to keep Opera singing ball-bag Gio Compario as the face of the brand.

We knew people found him immensely irritating, so decided to lean into that.

I created Saving The Nation. A campaign that showed the brand will both save you money, and save people from the annoying singing in the ads.

The client loved it. The agency won the pitch. And I got to make 6 films, 8 radio ads and a bunch of OOH.

The highlight was Professor Stephen Hawking saying yes to sucking Gio Compario into a supermassive black hole.
